HIGHER THROUGHPUT HERG BLOCK SCREEN (HTHBS) PDF
The Higher Throughput hERG Block Screen (HTHBS) uses patch-clamp to provide a quick, low-cost screen of the functional effects of 10 or more test compounds on the hERG current. A table of results will be provided via facsimile within 48 hours.

BLOCK COMPARATOR TESTS (xBC) PDF
Block Comparator Tests are used to compare and rank leads within a given class of drugs. ChanTest will compare ion channel block using a single concentration, and provide a table of results via facsimile, within 48 hours of study completion.

Determine hERG inhibitory potency for evaluation of safety margins and the potential cardiac repolarization risk. Drug concentrations, chosen to block current from 10 to 90%, are applied to the cardiac ion channel of interest: hERG; hNav1.5; gpL-type Ca; hKvLQT1/hminK; hKv1.5; hKv4.3

• GLP hERG assay and other channel assays can be performed at physiological temperature (recommended to identify the temperature sensitivity of drug candidates); or at room temperature.
• Non-GLP hERG Concentration-Response assays is available for hERG and other cardiac channels.
